Ability to identify and evaluate technology resources and technical assistance (I.e., those available on-line and on-site within a school and district setting).


The social bookmarking assignment meets this objective through the process of directly utilizing on-line and on-site technology to improve student learning within the classroom. Social bookmarking can be used in the classroom by exploring, identifying, and categorizing online and onsite resources that are relevant to any subject area. Educators have the ability to create a large database with readily accessible resources that maintains and facilitates active engagement of both students and teachers. For this assignment, numerous on-line and on-site resources were collected and grouped together according to subject area. These resources included websites, articles, wiki pages, blogs, etc. Within my classroom, these resources are used to assist instruction and provide students with current information of each lesson.
